What this role is about:
Become part of one of Germany’s leading AI companies and define what excellent delivery looks like at One Thousand. In this role, you set the standards, playbooks, and quality bar for our AI breakthrough projects, lead and grow our team of Project and Squad Leads, and join the senior leadership team.
This role is ideal for you if you’ve successfully delivered complex projects at scale and don’t just define delivery excellence but genuinely embed it in an organization. You enjoy leading people, build trust all the way up to C-level, and steer critical situations back on track with confidence.
What you’ll do:
• Define what “best practice” delivery looks like at One Thousand: the standards, playbooks, and quality bar for our AI breakthrough projects
• Lead and grow our team of Project and Squad Leads — with guidance, coaching, and clear career paths as we scale
• Plan staffing needs, hire the best consultants, and optimize utilization across internal and external staffing options
• Jump into key project moments as an experienced advisor to C-level clients, unblocking teams and steering critical situations back on track
• Design and pilot entirely new AI-first delivery concepts, then make sure they actually stick across the whole organization — not just on paper
• Bring an AI-first approach not only to corporates but to the Mittelstand, large international NGOs, scale-ups, unions, and the public sector
• Join the senior leadership team of One Thousand and shape decisions that drive how the organization develops and grows
